Deeds filed show 1878 half acre sold for twenty dollars
A Greensboro county court deed records a Pleasant Mc Adoo transfer of half an acre to Henry Hiatt for twenty dollars in 1878. Other deeds recorded include J E McGirt to Thomas Jones on Durham Street for about two thousand dollars and multiple property trades in Guilford and High Point townships with prices ranging from about one hundred fifty to nine thousand dollars. A note adds a new folded violin instrument as a novel musical toy.
