Miss Nancy Martin of Eagle Springs was crowned Queen of the Ball at the Valentine dance for High Point Memorial Hospital student nurses. Junior Miss Linda Vaughn crowned her as attendants Miss Shirley Davis Miss Jane Hughes and Miss Judy Sale attended. The coronation occurred in the nurses dorm recreation room with a carnation backdrop and a heart throne.
