Prayer for TRYDAY A holy island of apartness to dwell on
Dear Father, make this season of apartness a holy island to dwell on. Open our eyes to see ourselves as thou seest us and to face our weaknesses one by one in thy presence. Give us strength to set and keep the to the task we set and guide us through the cleansing process to newness of life and purpose. May our acts of penance light the darkness and lead us ever closer to thee, in Jesus' name. Amen. James W. Kennedy rector Church of the Ascension New York City.
