Piedmont Airlines expands service Greensboro High Point to Charlotte
Piedmont Airlines revises its flight schedule effective March 1 adding two new flights. Flight 497 from Charlotte to Roanoke Charleston Parkersburg Marietta and Columbus stops via Greensboro High Point while Flight 494 from Columbus to Charlotte connects onward to Wilmington. Aircraft types include F 27 prop jet and Martin 404 Pacemakers.

Delivery Of Fabrics Improves For High Point Furnishers
Upholstery fabric deliveries to High Point furniture manufacturers have improved in recent weeks after a late 1962 tightening. Manufacturers say the delivery situation never became critical and was within expected limits given rising sales. Some pattern stocks ran low briefly, but suppliers generally delivered on time, with four to six week schedules in use across price brackets. The overall fabric delivery level is now back to normal, according to manufacturers.
