Believe 17 Dead In Fire
Seventeen persons were reported burned to death when a fire destroyed an old peoples home in St John s New Brunswick. Winds of 50 miles per hour and near zero temperatures hampered efforts to control the blaze and many inmates escaped in their night attire.
