Ingram mrs. Robert h. Walker was hostess of an attractive meeting of the Over the teacups club yesterday afternoon the meeting taking the form of a Bon voyage party for mrs. C. T. Ingram a member of this club who was leaving last night for a South american cruise. The meeting was held at the Home of mrs. W. C. Jones on West Farriss Avenue where Spring Flowers were effectively used to give a colourful setting. Roses and snapdragons predominated in the Floral Motif to emphasize the Aventine idea and Bridge was in play at three tables following the serving of a three course luncheon. At the count of scores mrs. R b. Terry was conceded Winner of the club prise and received Hose while mrs. C. M. Waynick was awarded Cologne As guests award. To mrs. Ingram the hostess presented Hose. Cluess of mrs. Walker included mesdames a p. Hazelwood. Charles f. Tomlinson. Caput Waynick and Hiram Armentrout walk club members present were mesdames Albert Hart Oscar Durand Carter Dalton c. T. Ingram. J. E. Millis Harry Raymond and Howard Jobe. Miss Mildred Furgurson paid Honor at Bridge by miss Elliott and mrs. Cook Marian Elliott and mrs. Robert Cook entertained jointly at an attractive evening Bridge party last evening at the Gibson club rooms on North main Street to compliment miss Mildred Furgurson whose marriage to Edwin a Rankin jr., of this City will be an event of the Early Spring. Six tables of Bridge were in play during the evening in a setting of Spring Flowers which emphasised the yellow and White Motif throughout. Place of the Bride elect was designated by a White Satin Pillow to which was attached a Gardenia and wedding ring to accent the prevailing Motif. When scores were added after a period of play mrs. John Jennings was found to hold top Acore and rewarded with dusting powder while second prize costume necklace fell to miss Patricia Hall.
