Raleigh Feb 9 The revenue act amended by the joint committee on finance would let income tax payers appeal to the commissioner of revenue within three years for tax revisions, aligning the period with the state’s three year window to examine returns. The change faced some opposition over burden on the department but was approved by a majority to allow late appeals.
