W L Stamey plans a three story 50 by 90 foot limestone and white brick structure on West Commerce and Wrenn streets opposite the new city hall. The design imitates Washington and New York architecture by Herbert B Hunter with bronze accents and ample lighting. It includes a basement reserve area a drop elevator a nine foot rear hallway and steam heating with seventeen large second floor rooms.

Local court fines for driving while intoxicated and concealed weapons
Burt Hill pleaded guilty in police court before Judge Pro Tem MacRae to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and was fined 50 dollars plus costs. Burt Stevens received road duty for four months plus 100 dollar fine and costs for carrying concealed weapons. Burt remained jailed pending payment. Roy Ward paid half the costs for a traffic ordinance violation.
