Mother of Abandoned Child Found in Fayetteville
Mrs Lena Hill Coltrane of Asheboro was picked up in Fayetteville after leading officers to her other daughter Elaine five, who had been staying with family since Monday. Coltrane said she left Lisa in Winston Salem last Saturday because the child was heavy and to keep welfare from taking her. The father Clyde read about the case and came to Winston Salem. an Asheboro welfare worker said his wife had previously left with Lisa. The couple also has Cynthia, eight. Coltrane was to start work tonight at a drive in restaurant.
