A narrative aboard a train through western Wensas describes tumble weeds or Russian tissels rolling across barren plains. The weeds spread seeds via wind and some get snagged on telephone wires. A Kansas farmer notes cattle use as hay though not the best feed. A blue eyed boy jokes he is not a tumble weed.
