Chicago police say fingerprints of Omaha news director John Francis Johnson match those of Akron man Lawrence Joseph Bader, missing since 1957 after Lake Erie fishing trip. Johnson, a longtime radio TV staffer, surfaced in Omaha in 1957 before working as a bartender. Milwaukee police charged 23-year-old Michael N. Malkovich with stealing his father s life savings of sixty thousand dollars from a metal case in a first floor apartment bedroom. The elder Malkovich said he stored cash at home after an out of town trip and planned to invest for retirement and buy a house. A window was found shattered and the door unlocked in the residence.
