Train Truck Crash Kills One at Crossing

A freight train and pickup collided at a crossing injuring no others. Herbert Hoover Earnhardt, 37, of Rt. died at the scene after his 1960 model truck struck by a four engine train with 108 cars traveling about 50 mph. He was found near his demolished vehicle three feet from the tracks.
