Social clubs host meetings across Asheboro in early February
Randolph County educators and DAR units filled the week with lectures and ceremonies. Miss Billie Bolinger shared European travel slides at the Reviewer's Book Club. DAR members gathered at Mrs. Jones home with Mrs. Conyers discussing Americanism and citizenship. Other clubs hosted talks on Japanese women and Peter Marshall themes, while a new Dixieland Garden Club formed with Greystone support and plans to meet monthly.
