Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will meet Monday at Mrs. Elmer Young home on Brinkley Dr at 7 45 p m Following a short business meeting the evening will be spent playing canasta Associate hostesses are Miss Mary McInnis and Miss Hilda Ridge.
The High Point Garden Council will meet Tuesday at 10 o’clock in the Public Library Audio-Visual room. Each club must submit a nominee to be placed on the slate of Council officers for the coming year.
Miss Janice Farlow bride elect of Feb 18 to wed Stan ton Hackett at Marlboro Friends Meeting House was feted at Cedar Square Friends Meeting House Recreation Room. Hosts presented a heart corsage, games followed by a shower and a clothes hamper gift. Bridal party members and relatives attended including Mrs. Stanley Farlow and Mrs. Herschell Hackett.

Wallburg The Wallburg High School junior class entertained the senior class at a banquet held Thursday evening at the Lexington Country Club. Honor guests included Paul S. Evans superintendent of supervisor Dr Reich Clyde Motsinger and Mrs Motsinger. Entertainment came from Mr and Mrs Robert Brenton and their troupe from the Junior Home. Tables featured a Valentine motif with red roses ivy and candles.
The Junior Woman's Club will meet for luncheon on Wednesday at the Cie Meuse en Pigs. The club also plans a shower of baby gifts for the Children's Home Society in Greensboro, including comic books, children's records, and magazines for Caswell Training.
The Trinity School PTA plans an executive meeting at 7 p.m. Monday followed by the regular meeting with president C. J. Hiatt presiding. The Johnson St School PTA meets Tuesday at 7 30 p.m. in the auditorium with Dr. M. L. Aderholdt as guest speaker.
Friday Morning Music Club meets February 10 at Mrs L L Wilkinson's Rockford Road home. Mrs Wilkinson will present an Oriental music program after which members will adjourn to the Women's Club for luncheon with Mrs Edith Sherrod co hosting.

Mrs. Don McClellan from Boston recalled Sophia Taplin as a former local resident.
Chairtown Chapter of the National Secretaries Association will meet Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Guilford Dairy Bar hostess room to discuss the annual peggie Night and related plans.
The Business and Professional Women will meet at the Sheraton Hotel for their regular dinner gathering. The meeting is set for Wednesday at 6 30 p.m.
The Dogwood Garden Club will meet Wednesday at 2 p.m. at 412 Rockspring Rd hosted by Mrs. Carrick Kivett. Mrs. Floyd Parker is associate hostess and Mrs. Hugh Kellam will present a program on Dogwood Trees.
