Troy man charged with murder in shotgun slaying
A 4-year-old Troy man, Guy Crook, is bound over for the July term of Montgomery Superior Court on murder charges in the shotgun death of Moody Blake, 48, after Blake advanced with a knife during a drinking argument. Crook allegedly surrendered Saturday night and confessed self defense. In Camp Lejeune, the Second Marine Division plans a mammoth parade tomorrow to mark 12 years of service with Maj. Gen. R McC. Pate overseeing the event. the Sixth Marine Regiment will not participate.
