Mrs. Austin Cowan of 223 Steele Street was admitted Tuesday to High Point Memorial Hospital for treatment. Her condition is reported improved and visitors are allowed. Mrs. D F Davis of 525 Whiteoak Street underwent surgery for a broken hip last Saturday at the same hospital.

The party featured flowers linen and desserts with the Dawleys receiving an occasional table as a gift.
