Whisky Seizure at Neese Williard Home Raided in High Point
City detectives busted into the basement of R. M. Williard at 718 West Farriss avenue and found 98 quarts of whisky and gin labeled Canadian Club B. W. D and Holloway's Dry. Also seized were labels seals corks bottle wrappers and numerous empty bottles. No arrest made as authorities waited for Williard to surrender. Mrs Williard present at the time of the raid.

City schools reopened this morning after a 12 day respite for holidays. Classrooms resumed and teachers began catching up on work prior to the recess week. No more holidays are on the schedule until Easter in April.
Watch Night Service At Salvation Army Headquarters
