Regulations On Moving Veterans Address Changes
The county veterans service office announced that VA finance will not always update checks when changes arrive after the 20th of the month. Veterans should pick up checks at the old address on delivery day if changes are late, or the check returns to the treasury. An exception exists if the new address is under the same post office and the veteran filed the new address on form 22. Changes require the veteran signature on the new address and can be made using VA form 4572 or by letter to the finance officer.
