Truce Eve Sparks Multi-Front Vietnam War Action

The destroyer O'Brien took two hits from North Vietnamese shore batteries and Marines reported about 110 Communists killed after a five hour fight. U S B52 bombers and fighter bombers conducted raids while a Viet Cong detachment battled Saigon police near the capital. The O'Brien left under her own power after heavy shelling and light casualties. The coastal duel occurred 25 miles north northeast of Dong Ioil near international waters in the Gulf of Tonkin.

Paroled gamblers gift TV to SBI agent then returns it
