Little Mike Returns To Little Judy

A Boston terrier named Mike returns home to Judy Grenor after a mix up with a second dog. Judy, age three, had stopped eating and cried, diagnosed as heartbreak caused by the missing dog. Mrs Erwin Perkins and her dog Mike discovered a lookalike dog following them downtown, ending the tale with Mike reuniting Judy.

Man’s Body Washed Ashore Near Avon North Carolina

The body of Frank Lee Forrest III, 32, of Hampton Virginia, was found washed ashore four miles north of Avon. He was one of four crewmen missing after their trawler Sea Dog wrecked December 7. Forrest was identified by relatives at a Manteo funeral home and taken to Hampton. The other missing crewmen are Captain Eldridge Holloway of Pocomoke Ralph Gibbs of Hampton and Henry Abernathy of Gloucester County.
