Charge That Reds Given Free Tours Called Ridiculous

Washington (UP) The State Department dismissed as preposterous charges that passports were issued to known communists and fellow travelers for tours to Russia and other Iron Curtain countries. The Senate Internal Security Committee alleged secret travel was allowed to visit Moscow and other sites, while McCarran and Eastland led a three man task force in the investigation.
