Butler-Lantz nuptials at Lincolnton church in double ring ceremony
Miss Frances Carolyn Lantz and Bill Roy Butler were married at Daniel's Evangelical and Reformed Church Lincolnton in a four o'clock ceremony officiated by Rev Roy E Leinbach. The bride wore Chantilly lace and tulle with a chapel train and carried a prayer book bouquet. The couple will reside at 317 Stansberry Circle Boone after a wedding trip.

Dr Shirley Elizabeth Kirkman daughter of Mr and Mrs T C Kirkman of 902 Sunset Dr arrives from Duke University Medical School where on December 15 she completed studies and earned the M D degree Formal diploma will be awarded at the June 1957 commencement She attended High Point High School class of 1949 and the Woman's College of Duke University completing the accelerated four year program in 39 months She will return to Duke Hospital January 1 1957 to begin pediatrics and plans to specialize as an intern doctor
