Thomasville voters cast ballots in a bond issue election at Dave Long's Sign Shop on Main Street. The improvised polling place has served the city for about 12 years, replacing the Masonic lodge due to renovations and reluctance to reopen.
The Wesley Memorial Methodist church hosts a fellowship hour in the intermediate assembly room at 7 30 p m tomorrow. Reverend Paul Hardin Jr continues his New Testament studies. The carillon choir performs a 16th century French carol Sing We Neel as a special number. The chapel choir holds its weekly rehearsal at 8 00 p m after the midweek service. All four choirs will rehearse in the church sanctuary Thursday at 7 30 p m.
