Zeta Omicron Sorority Christmas Party Planned
Zeta Omicron chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met at Ruth Grant's Eastchester Drive home to discuss a Christmas outing at Jacque's in Greensboro. Gerri Campbell led the session and urged ideas for the April Founders Day banquet with a Bicentennial theme.

Out Our Way Garden Club visited the 1834 Homestead of Mr and Mrs Woodrow McKay at 408 South Main Street Lexington and Grace Episcopal Church 419 South Main Street. Members gathered at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and toured Lexington for the Christ mas bazaar. Mrs McKay, descendant of Dr William Rainey Holt, and her husband have lived in the house since 1949. Luncheon followed at the Dutch Club with hostesses Mrs Jean McGuire and Mrs Clyde Johnson.

Officers elected for the coming year include Mrs. James Gray as president and Mrs. Della Farlow as vice president, along with secretary, treasurer, mission coordinators, and group leaders. The nominating committee comprised Mrs. Ruth Hancock, Mrs. Evie Thornton, Mrs. Diane Hauser, Mrs. Nancy Harris, and Mrs. Tamara Regan. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Ida Gray with assistance from Mrs. Evie Thornton.

First Methodist Women Install Officers in High Point
The United Methodist Women at First United Methodist Church held an evening program and annual meeting in the church hall. The Girls' Chorus of Fern Dale Junior High School performed under Mrs Clyde Hedrick. Presiding was president Mrs Harry Hauser who led a memorial service and candle lighting for members who died this year. Newly elected and installed officers include Mrs Robert E Hauser as president and other officers such as Mrs David Dowdy president elect and Miss Lena Davis treasurer.
