Dugan Embler Dies in Davidson County at 84
Dugan Embler, a longtime farmer and influential Davidson county resident, died yesterday at 1 p.m. at his daughter Lula Mendenhall’s home five miles from High Point. He was born December 28, 1886, and lived all his life in the county. The funeral will be at Zion church tomorrow at 11 a.m. Rev. Dugan Cox will officiate. burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survived by his widow and daughter Lula Mendenhall.
