Two staff members plan to fly to Mont Rolland Quebec to search 15 000 pounds of waste paper for thousands of state historical records mistakenly hauled off last October by a waste collector for the Land Control Department. Youngster to Face Hearing in Juvenile Court

A 14 year old boy in Four Oaks North Carolina will have a juvenile court hearing Saturday after telling officers he shot his father to protect his mother. Deputy Ernie Lee quoted the boy Ray Temple sobbing about the shooting at the family home Monday night. Vernon Temple, 40, died from a gunshot wound to the face. Coroner V Underwood noted Mrs Temple said her husband had threatened to kill her. A struggle over the weapon preceded the shooting.

Government Cotton Crop Data Given

The Agriculture Department estimates this year’s government restricted crop at 15,569.09 bales, higher than last month’s 13,206,000 bale forecast and below 16,485,000 bales from last year.
