Also planned were Secret Sister Christmas on Dec 14 at Mrs. Kirsch, a couple’s party on Dec 19 at the Embassy Club, and a city council meeting noted by Mrs. Mike Scheider. Dessert followed.

The Westview Flower Club holds a white elephant sale at 615 Chandler Dr. Women of the Moose host a chapter night and Christmas party at the Moose Home on N Main St. Brooklea Garden Club hears a program by Mrs Worth Grant at Emerywood Country Club at 11 a m. Daughters of the American Revolution host a Christmas luncheon at Emerywood Country Club after an 11 45 a m board meeting. Oakview Extension Homemakers meet at 3831 N Main St.
Mrs. R. B. Culler hosted a Christmas tea for Catesby Bird Club members with Mrs. Worth Ivey and Miss Mary Alice Sheloff as associates. Refreshments were served, and the room showcased red and white decor, world tour ornaments, and a olive wood Holy Land nativity centerpiece. A brief business session announced Piedmont Bird Club’s December dinner and a January field trip with Carolina Bird Club to Charleston.
