Violations Charged After Two Separate Accidents

In Thomasville two drivers were charged with going too fast for conditions after separate afternoon crashes on Salem and Randolph streets. Richard E. Aycock Street was treated at City Memorial Hospital for head and arm injuries from a one car crash on Salem Street. Ward, northbound on Salem, struck a pole and was thrown from the vehicle. the car crossed a field and suffered heavy damage. Ward was charged with going too fast for conditions. Charlie M. Alford of Rt. 2 Lexington was also charged after a Randolph Street crash around 5 45 p.m. He was not injured. A zoning line change from agricultural to residential was noted for 3337, owned by A I Ferree.
