Representatives from High Point civic agencies plan a 7 30 p m meeting at the chamber of commerce to decide whether to submit a proposal under the Economic Opportunity Act. Dr N M Harrison and Ray Kisiah co chair the local committee urging timely coordination of requests ahead of the December 16 deadline. Proposals will be reviewed by the High Point Committee led by Edward N Post before county evaluation.

Furniture Foundation Meet Set

East High Point residents sue after the City Council rezones 200 acres near Five Points to Planned Industrial Park. Complainants Roy G. and Hazel H. Armstrong oppose the zoning with Lynn W. tanker RIJEKA launched for Soviet fleet in Yugoslavia
A 20,800 ton tanker named Rezekne was launched in RIJEKA on Saturday for the Soviet commercial fleet. It is the second in a series of seven tankers of the same displacement to be built here for the Soviet Union.
