Christmas Town USA Lights Up McAdenville Each December

In McAdenville North Carolina known as Christmas Town USA the town lights up at 6 30 p m Friday with nearly a million red white and green lights The town of 950 residents decorates spruce trees through a civic project backed by Pharr Yarns Inc and a six man town fire department crew The display features a 75 foot water fountain column and a yuletide procession on December 23 Visitors arrive from around the region and charter buses bring crowds to view the lights
