U S jets attacked targets near Hanoi amid dogfights with MIGs and claimed downing one Red jet and likely a second. Destruction hit a major North Vietnamese railroad yard northeast of Hanoi. Near Tan Son Nhut Airport Saigon authorities report heavy Viet Cong casualties and brief American losses.
