Stolen Car Recovered and Suspect Charged in Larceny Case
High Point police recovered a stolen 1977 car valued at $8600 reported stolen about an hour earlier. Ronald Allen Smith of the YMCA was charged with auto larceny in connection with the Coventry Road theft. The car was found on Carolina Avenue after being stolen from Montheu Avenue. Additional local thefts and several arrests for marijuana possession, disorderly conduct, assault on an officer, delaying an officer and larceny were reported from various residences and businesses.
