Steam Locomotive Brings History to Life in Arizona
In northern Arizona the White Mountain Scenic Railway offers daily 44 mile five hour trips through ponderosa pines and streams. Owner Hatch preserves two steam locomotives dating from California lines and Kansas Texas cars, with his son Marion as fireman and conductor William Echols guiding passengers and sharing Ft Apache area history.
