Flag interference rules in golf cited by Annis Brown
In golf rules discussed by Annis Brown a caddie holding the flag and allowing a ball to strike it causes the opponent to lose the hole. The ruling follows Rule 18 paragraph one, which states that interference by an opponent or his caddie or clubs results in the opposing side losing the hole.
