No-Fault Divorce Gains Ground In Florida
Florida shifted to dissolution of marriage on July 1, replacing fault based grounds. Judges report less courtroom drama and alimony may go to either spouse while custody rules favor both parents. In July 1970 to 1971 counts rose in Duval, Hillsborough and Dade counties signaling growing adoption of the new system.
