Local Manpower Survey Ordered by Government

Two draft boards in High Point scrape the bottom of the manpower barrel for a comprehensive survey ordered by selective service. The plan lists every person by exact classifications, creating a nationwide word picture of manpower. Fathers will be counted by number of children and likely drafted in that order if a father draft begins, though officials doubt such a draft will occur. Board four began last week and aims to have the report ready by September first, a month ahead of schedule.
