Northwest Guilford looks to rebound with new offense
Northwest Guilford High School, in its second year in the Mid-State 3-A, hopes for an improved season after a 1-8-1 record. Coach Ronnie Ball plans a pro style attack built around end Ronnie Shelton and teammate Martin Decker, with two junior quarterbacks competing and a backfield led by Randy Stewart and Fred Jessup. The line is weaker, but returning backs plus a strong defense aim to lift the team.
