Civilian Pilot Dies In Collision Over North Carolina

In Morehead City, a 28 year old civilian pilot Jesse G. Taylor of Beaufort was killed when his fish spotting craft collided at 1000 feet with a Marine A4D jet. Lt. William M. Foley parachuted to safety into a marsh after the crash. The accident occurred above a boat carrying two Raleigh fishermen and wreckage fell into their craft.
