Suit Planned Against TVA Over Dam Threats
Three environmental groups plan to sue the Tennessee Valley Authority over the Columbia Dam in Maury County and- Tellico Dam, alleging threats to endangered aquatic species. Attorney Frank Fry says a lawsuit is developing and could be ready within three months. The groups include the Environmental Defense Fund, Tennessee Citizens for Wilderness Planning, and Tennessee Scenic River Association. TVA previously refused a Fish and Wildlife Service request to halt work on the $142 million project citing potential impacts on rare shellfish.

The game uses a buzzing ball and base with beeper cone, played by ear and judged by sighted umpires.
