Joel Ritchie 26, former vice president of the North Carolina Junior Chamber of Commerce, was killed when his car sideswiped a J P Stevens tractor trailer and crashed into a Johnson Motor Lines truck near the Guilford County Sanatorium east of Jamestown at about 1 30 a m He lived in Greensboro and had recently moved from Albemarle where he worked as office manager for a plumbing and heating firm The other driver J C Tuttle of High Point was hospitalized in shock with several broken ribs The body was taken to Albemarle for burial
