Dental Assistants Meet Plaque Control Workshop in Southern Pines
The past president's council of the North Carolina Dental Assistants Association sponsored a seven hour plaque control workshop on August 8 at the Sheraton Motor Inn in Southern Pines. Dr. M. W. Aldridge led lectures and demonstrations with 90 attendees and hands on practice using plaque control kits.

Nine members and one guest, Mrs. Savannah Staley, attended a Good Deed Club business meeting at Armstrong Park. Attendees included J. H. Lee Fred Marlowe and W. H. Hancock. They planned gifts and fruit baskets for Maryfield Nursing Home and signed cards for shut ins. Mrs. Evin Garner celebrated a birthday as Mrs. J. H. Lee gave the closing prayer. The next dinner is set for Sept 11 at the Polirosa in Tobaccoville.
