Drowning At City Pool Ends Hope For Young Boy
A boy estimated between 7 and 11 years old from Greensboro died after being found floating in the city lake pool. Rescue attempts by lifeguards doctors and ambulance staff failed despite mouth to mouth resuscitation oxygen and heart massage. The body was recovered by a swimmer near the low diving boards and rushed to High Point Memorial Hospital where futile electric shocks were used. Authorities contacted Salvation Army officials and patrons to identify the missing youth. no identification was found.
