French Disagree With Censor on Twin Beds in Paris Film
In Paris during the making of The Ambassador's Daughter by Norman Krasna Hollywood's code clashed with French crew. Krasna ordered twin beds for bedroom scenes upsetting local cameramen who argued double beds were normal in France. He also used a Rothschild castle for exterior shots, avoiding the American Embassy. Krasna praised French crews and praised their generosity and realism.
