Killer Mental Case In Hospitals In Grant Park Slaying
A 25 year old man, Bernard Richardson Jr, killed 18 year old Patricia Kahler and 17 year old Herbert Hoffman in Grant Park Chicago then killed himself. Police say it appears a mistaken identity case with no known prior homicidal records. Richardson had been a mental patient in two hospitals within a year and recently released on 90 day VA leave from Gulfport Mississippi.
