Anderson Jr. has joined the Grand Rapids Varnish Corp. sales team operating from High Point North Carolina and Martinsville Virginia. Anderson, MSU 1949 graduate, brings furniture finishing, color styling and production control experience. He and his wife Connie have two children. The North Carolina studio operates under Grand Rapids Varnish Corp., a satellite of Guardsman Chemical Coatings Inc.

A faculty representative and two High Point College students will attend the Walter Fancourt Memorial Seminar in Greensboro on October 3 and 4. Now in its second year, the program invites about 22 Carolina colleges plus textile industry representatives to hear leaders discuss research development sales and styling in hosiery and knit goods.
