Stamey moves the project forward. The firm holds five lease blocks totaling about 50 000 acres from Tidewater Petroleum and Gas and Coastal Plains company.
Harrisburg reports from State Secretary James A. Kell indicate the 1946 maple sugar crop in Pennsylvania is disappointing with producers rating quality from poor to fair. Kell notes sugarhungry housewives should not expect relief from maple sugar any time soon.
Los Angeles on April 27 police report a 16 year old vendor Howard Bowden was assaulted by two men who stole two bags of popcorn. Bowden described the attackers and the incident occurred last night on a city street.
