Mrs J Buren Sidbury of Wilmington was elected president of the North Carolina Garden Club. The convention adjourned after a business meeting and announced the spring meeting will be held in Winston-Salem. Musical Program At YWCA Tea Feature
The YWCA April membership event was a musical tea held in the hut on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. M. J. Wrenn’s garden supplied spring flowers as Janet Russell of High Point College and local students performed vocal and instrumental pieces. Tea and accessories followed. event coordinators were Mrs. G. I. Humphreys and Mrs. Franklin Welch.

Greensboro April 27 Plans are underway for the annual Parents Day at the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina to be held Saturday April 29. Parents will tour the campus enjoy a luncheon and dinner at Spencer Dining Room, view Home Economics exhibits, attend classes and see the College Playlikers performance of Double Door in Aycock Auditorium at 8 30 p m.
