State Officials Warned Of Possible Conflicts
Two high level state officials in North Carolina faced a warning from the state Board of Ethics about potential conflicts between their public duties and private business interests. Commerce Secretary Lauch Faircloth and Crime Control Secretary J Phil Carlton accepted the warning as a reasonable precaution. The board found no other conflicts among Hunt cabinet members.

Atlanta AP report: CDC seeks roster of the 504th Airborne Infantry Regiment from the 82nd Airborne to study whether low dose radiation from Yucca Flats in 1957 caused delayed leukemia. About 1,100 attended. CDC has received hundreds of calls but none from involved personnel. Six 504th members contacted, all at different times, none in 1957, none with leukemia.

Minors Could Receive Treatment Without Parent Consent
