Opposition Heard To Abortion Bill
In Raleigh a Baptist minister warns the bill liberalizing North Carolina abortion laws could invite out of state patients and clinics. The House Health Committee took no action as doctors warn of mass abortion and ethical concerns. Other measures: standardizing solicitor districts, approving driver training schools for teens, and chemical testing for suspected drunken driving.
