In Gastonia on April 26 AP reports two witnesses testified 17 year old Jacob Vanderburg claimed his father killed his mother and siblings. One witness said Vanderburg admitted striking his father after discovering the bodies. The other said Vanderburg claimed his father drank hard and he slept at eight, then woke to a burning house.
